During 25 years in international leadership positions in the automotive supplier industry, I had the opportunity to successfully lead and develop teams of various sizes worldwide and take responsibility for the business’s success.

The health and well-being of employees have always been especially important to me, as they are the most valuable asset of a company.

Today, I use these experiences to support leaders manage themselves and their organizations in a healthy and sustainable way.

My Why

With 25 years of leadership experience in both for-profit companies and non-profit organizations, I have had the opportunity to learn how to purposefully apply the many facets of leadership.

I realized that an appreciative leadership style has a significantly positive impact on an organization's efficiency. Anyone who wants to drive progress within their organization would be wise to start with themselves!

The right mindset toward oneself and in the role of a leader plays a crucial role in this.

People follow people became one of my guiding principles over time and has always helped me to reflect, grow personally, and further develop my entire area of responsibility.

Career entry

After completing my studies, I chose a traditional career entry and began my professional journey as a development engineer.

I quickly learned that my own actions and the associated performance are significantly influenced by the people around me.

I realized that the quality and quantity of results can be significantly improved by being open and integrating the opinions and knowledge of colleagues, customers and suppliers.

In this context, every individual employee in the company has a leadership role.

Leadership responsibilities

Initially as the leader of internationally distributed development teams of varying sizes, ranging from 10 to 100+ employees, and later as the head of a business unit with international sales responsibility in the billions and managing 2000+ employees, I had the opportunity to effectively apply the experiences and knowledge I gained to drive the business success of the department as well as the entire company.

As part of this, it was important to me to maintain a respectful approach with all stakeholders – employees, colleagues, supervisors, and both internal and external business partners. In a dynamic market environment, my teams and I consistently managed to achieve ambitious goals, both during periods of economic growth and downturn, while always being surrounded by enthusiastic employees.

Learnings

Over the course of my leadership career, I realized that principles from sports can be excellently applied in business as well.

I became aware of these parallels during my time as a coach in a sports club. As a licensed competitive sports coach, I draw on solid, detailed knowledge.

The goal of drawing out personal bests from each employee, rather than creating internal competition, is a guarantee for maximum team success.

Dealing with your own health and the health of your team is particularly important. The ancient Romans already knew 2000 years ago that a healthy mind lives in a healthy body.

Healthy leadership starts with the mindset and the associated willingness for personal change. In addition to a respectful approach towards oneself and one's employees, areas such as nutrition, exercise, and relaxation are also part of a leader's repertoire to elevate oneself and their business to the next level and achieve peak performance. Many people have great potential waiting to be unlocked!

Why me?

With passion, I help people move forward who want to take their personal growth into their own hands. It brings me joy to accompany them on this journey. As a young leader, I personally missed many tools, strategies, and approaches to effectively and efficiently lead a team and inspire them to achieve peak performance. Over time, I gained knowledge, gathered experience, and successfully applied these skills. Based on this, I offer a platform for my clients’ personal growth and the peak performance of their teams. Through my guidance, I help them find a shortcut on their way to peak performance for themselves and their teams.
